radicals ramp 2010 (2)
Yeah, happy new. Here, for probably the last time, some hearing impressions of 2010s music releases:
TOUNDRA - "II" :
Instrumental post-rock, the zweihundertvierundachtzigste. Therefore, I must say very clearly again, but then in spite of all generic restraint but somehow quite nice to listen. Plus: Nice artwork, nice drum work.
Profanatica - "Disgusting Blasphemies Against God" :
Since their bottom-no-cover on an osmosis-7 "in the very early nineties are Profanatica the total cult. And as one of the first American 2nd Wave black metal bands they can probably also allow somehow, twenty years later, again with an album full of infantile anti-Christian song titles, behind which it is permanently annoying primitive junk to get the corner. Well.
JULIE CHRISTMAS - "The Bad Wife" :
Really great expectations had been on the solo album of the Battle of Mice / Made Out Of Babies singer and Beardoszene flagship Barbie is not so so really, right? Well, it is also significant that "The Bad Wife" is a kind of neither positive nor negative out stinging Alternative / Modern has become metal concoction, which I neither abturnt excited yet, and to me really not much more than that to think of to say.
CANDY CANE / Oranssi Pazuzu - Split :
While CC has its roots somewhere in the HC and have this avant-garde in the last few years exploring, they live on this split CD entirely of in extreme metal-plains with blast beats and scold. OP experiment again remains to get to something like black metal in a unique style formula with psychedelia in a hat. The bottom line here, unfortunately, not an essential release, but rather a proof that lead to a stale overly intellectual concepts crash sometimes cramped.
